QQI Health & Safety at Work

Certification: QQI Level 5

Duration: Five Days

 

Training Aim:  

The aim of the Safety and Health at Work training programme is to provide learners with the knowledge, practical skills and understanding required to promote and maintain safety and health in the learners working environment.

 Learning Outcomes:

Learners who successfully complete this module will:

• Understand the concept of safety and health.
• Recognise the factors that influence health, safety and welfare.
• Apply the principles and procedures of health and safety to the learner’s workplace.
• Understand the importance of hazard identification and risk assessment
• Promote safe working practices and procedures
• Be familiar with core legislation in the area of safety, health and welfare.

Certification: On successful completion of the training programme each participant will receive QQI Level 5 Award in Safety and Health at Work.
