VDU/DSE Workstation Training
Certification: Participants will receive AMPM Safety & Environmental certificate of attendance on the successful completion of the course.
Duration: Approx 4 Hours
Training Aim:
The aim of the VDU Training programme is to ensure that learners gain the skills required to carry out their work with Visual Display Units in accordance with the General Applications Regulations 2007.
Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the overall training period learners will be able to
- State the relevant Health and Safety Legislation in relation to VDUs.
- Define ergonomics and VDUs
- Demonstrate the correct posture for working with VDU’s
- Understand the consequences of Work-related musculo-skeletal problems
- Carry out VDU workstation assessments and advise operators on the safe methods of work
Participants: Maximum 14 per group.
